Brief Introduction:
Chitosan hydrochloride is made by adding hydrochloric acid ethanol solution to chitosan, and then filtering, washing residue, drying, crushing and other processes. Since chitosan can only be dissolved in some dilute inorganic acids or organic acids, it cannot be directly dissolved in water, which limits its application to a large extent, so chitosan hydrochloride makes up for this significant shortcoming.

Character:
Chitosan hydrochloride is a white or off-white odorless, non-toxic translucent amorphous powder. It dissolves in water. The aqueous solution is neutral, clear and transparent; the property is stable.

Applications:

Chitosan hydrochloride is directly soluble in water and is a chitosan derivative with strong cationicity, which can promote the absorption of nutrients or drugs by body cells, it can be used as an absorption accelerator for hydrophilic drugs and natural nutritional cosmetics, as well as for medical dressings and carriers, food health care, cationic flocculants, etc.

1. Chitosan hydrochloride can be used as an absorption enhancer for hydrophilic drugs and natural nutritional cosmetics;

2. Chitosan hydrochloride maintains the quality of chitosan. With good film-forming and antibacterial properties, it can be used as additives and preservatives for food, fruits and vegetables;

3. Chitosan hydrochloride has a strong cationic property and is used for sewage treatment, protein sedimentation recovery in food factories, and improvement of pulp utilization and paper strength in papermaking.

Packaging:
Packed in full paper drum, 25kg/drum; or according to the specific requirements from customers.

Storage & Transportation:
Sealed packaging. Store in a dry, clean, cool place. When transporting, load and unload lightly, and shall not be mixed with harmful, poisonous and easily polluting items, and it is strictly prohibited to be exposed to rain.

Shelf Life:

24 months if stored under above conditions.
