Brief Introduction:
5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride, also known as 5-Amino-4-ketovaleric acid hydrochloride and 5-ALA HCL, is white or light yellow powder, hygroscopic and irritating, and relatively sensitive to light. 5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride is soluble in water, ethanol, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, the molecular formula is C5H10ClNO3, and the molecular weight is 167.59.
